HydroSweep Pro

The HydroSweep fully adjustable dock mounted aquatic current device (ACD), keeps your waterfront, dock area or pond clean from algae, trash and decaying debris on the surface.

The exclusive motorized action of the HydroSweep is effective 50 feet* or more. The HydroSweep is ideal for managing decaying bottom and floating algae.

In addition, the HydroSweep Pro can be used as a deicer to help protect your unprotected docks, beach houses, lakeshore line and other items not covered by your property insurance.

The original HydroSweep is designed to help preserve waterfronts and control algae, trash, and decaying debris on the surface of the water, while maintaining naturally occurring aquatic life.

The exclusive motorized action of the HydroSweep is effective 50 feet or more and is ideal for managing decaying bottom and floating algae. Its dock mounted design is perfect for allowing water level adjustments and circulating water throughout your entire waterfront, including hard to reach areas under docks and boat lifts to rid shorelines of stagnant water, reduce swimmer’s itch, and deter invasive species.

intuitive automation

To facilitate and maximize your control of the dock area, the HydroSweep Pro is fully programmable, allowing you to control the direction of the 1400 gallons of water that it pumps every minute. This higher volume of water movement, nearly three times that of many devices, allows for effective agitation of up to 50 feet in any direction.

large effective range

The range of effectiveness is an estimate based on a number of variable factors. Performance may be reduced in deeper waters, or in steep drop-off in the lake floor; and obstructions, such as dock legs, wheels, or boatlifts will also affect range. Extensive testing, however, has confirmed an average of 100 feet range of effectiveness.

Here are some answers to commonly asked qusetions we hear about the Docks we sell

Yes. SafeShore® recommends that a minimum of a 15-amp/120-volt circuit is available at the shoreline. For your safety, this circuit must also be equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and should be properly installed by a licensed electrician

The HydroSweep ™ Pro ACD is manufactured by SafeShore®, a family-owned business, operating in Chanhassen, MN. At the SafeShore® facility, our technicians manufacture and assemble each HydroSweep™ Pro ACD with precise detail. More than 75 percent of our materials are sourced locally through suppliers and manufacturers in the Midwest.

The HydroSweep™ Pro ACD has low maintenance requirements. Debris may become stuck in the plastic propeller or pump periodically due to suspended solids in the water. Should this occur, shut off the unit, disconnect the unit from its power source, and remove the debris.

During extended storage periods, SafeShore® recommends the HydroSweep Pro is stored indoors with the propeller of the motor facing down.

As with all electronic equipment, there are some basic precautions that should be implemented with HydroSweep™ Pro units to avoid injury and product damage. To better ensure your safety, SafeShore® recommends that a licensed electrician perform the power installation for the ACD. Additionally, the unit should be powered off if swimmers are nearby. SafeShore® also offers a screen kit that can be installed to help prevent accidental contact with the propeller.
